Tips For Being Info Healthy
The term “Info Healthy” has become an important part of marketing recently. It can mean a lot of things, and in many ways, Info Healthy means different things to different people. For simplicity’s sake however, we will refer to it as a general statement about promoting good health for the whole person. A healthy mind and body are essential for one to be able to live a quality life. So how can info healthy help you?
Well, let’s start at the beginning. Health, as defined by the World Health Organization, is the “state of full physical, emotional and social well being and not the absence of illness and infirmity.” A wide variety of definitions have also been used over the years for varying purposes. For simplicity’s sake, though, we will stick with the WHOLE definition:
“A healthy body system signifies the capacity of organs, tissues, cells, and the entire organism to function effectively and to survive under normal physiological conditions under varied environmental stresses. These stresses can result from physiological, psychosocial, environmental, and dietary factors. The interrelation of these individual and environmental variables determines both individual and total health.” Wikipedia
What this means is that your state of health is the sum total of all of the functions of your body in unison. Your physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health impacts how well you can cope with stress, how you feel, how you think, how you eat, and how you live. Everything that you put into your body impacts your health.
In addition, your thoughts and emotions determine your body’s state of health. Negative thoughts and emotions will deteriorate your health. Positive thoughts and emotions are what will keep your body functioning at its optimum level. There is a big difference between having “healthy” thoughts and having “healthy” emotions. You can do things that make you happy, and still you’ll be unhealthy.
Your lifestyle and eating habits also impact your state of health. Are you sleeping enough? Are you exercising enough? Do you have the right amount of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in your diet?
Your eating habits affect your health. What kind of foods do you eat? Do you eat healthy foods or junk foods? If you are not eating a balanced diet, you are probably suffering from one of the following: deficiencies of nutrients, obesity, an addiction to poor food choices, or eating too much.
Now, this does not mean that you should immediately start eating healthy or lose weight. You should start slowly by changing your eating habits. When you want to lose weight, first of all you need to burn more calories than you consume. By eating the proper foods and making sure you get the proper amount of sleep, you can effectively reduce your calorie intake and improve your metabolism.
