In addition, your thoughts and emotions determine your body’s state of health. Negative thoughts and emotions will deteriorate your health. Positive thoughts and emotions are what will keep your body functioning at its optimum level. There is a big difference between having “healthy” thoughts and having “healthy” emotions. You can do things that make you happy, and still you’ll be unhealthy.

Your lifestyle and eating habits also impact your state of health. Are you sleeping enough? Are you exercising enough? Do you have the right amount of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in your diet?

Your eating habits affect your health. What kind of foods do you eat? Do you eat healthy foods or junk foods? If you are not eating a balanced diet, you are probably suffering from one of the following: deficiencies of nutrients, obesity, an addiction to poor food choices, or eating too much.

Now, this does not mean that you should immediately start eating healthy or lose weight. You should start slowly by changing your eating habits. When you want to lose weight, first of all you need to burn more calories than you consume. By eating the proper foods and making sure you get the proper amount of sleep, you can effectively reduce your calorie intake and improve your metabolism.
