Exercise Warm Up – 3 Sets of 30 Seconds Each

If you are in your 30’s and you want to keep active but at the same time you don’t want to be regarded as being old, then you should consider having a fit body. Fitnes is where everything starts and this is not a place to slack off. There is so much you can do if you have a fit body and enjoy it to the fullest. The following are some tips for living fit.

Physical fitness is just a state of good health and well being and, most importantly, the ability to do various parts of physical activities and jobs. Physical fitness means various things to different people. For some, it is simply being able to walk for at least 30 minutes or being able to climb stairs for at least 10 steps. For others, it is reaching the top of a mountain or swimming for at least one hour a day. Fitnes is where all of these start and you need to maintain your fitness levels for a long, healthy and disease free life. Maintaining your physical activity is actually a part of your fitness plan and that is why it is advisable to include it as part of your lifestyle.

Most of us spend most of our time sitting. This sedentary lifestyle contributes greatly to the fact that we have poor digestion and insufficient amount of nutrients in the form of minerals and vitamins. An effective way to keep fit is to engage in some physical activity like walking or jogging at least 30 minutes every day. It will not only improve your well being but it will also help you in accomplishing your fitness goals concerning weight loss, improving stamina, preventing diseases and illnesses, maintaining your weight at a reasonable level and many other benefits as well.

One tip to take note of is that after you finish your workout, you should consume an energy rich snack so that your body will be energized for the next session. For those who are on a fitness diet, consuming a high protein shake or a piece of fruit would be the perfect choice. You can also opt to consume a couple of slices of whole grain bread so that you can keep yourself topped up with essential vitamins and minerals. If you feel that you are not hungry enough after completing your workout and still want some food to munch on, then you can either have a post-workout snack before your next session or you can have a bag of potato chips as your post-workout snack.

The second tip that you can try is to make sure that you stretch your legs prior to your workout. This can be done by standing on your toes, keeping your knees straight and then flexing your hips. Your feet should be shoulder-width apart from each other. When you do this exercise, make sure that your back can get into a crunch position.

The third exercise is called the renegade exercise. This is another exercise that you can do when you are in the beginning phases of working out. In this exercise, you will need to do a standard side foot sole contact with the floor while keeping the rest of your body in a straight line. Your arms should be positioned along your sides with your palms facing down. To do this exercise properly, you should hold the position for three sets of 30 seconds each.
